Competition for handmade carpets
enters its third year
Following this year's successful
premiere in January, the
Carpet Design
Awards (CDA) will be presented for the
third time at
DOMOTEX HANNOVER 2009.
The
Carpet Design Awards were
established for the purpose of
acknowledging the remarkable talent and
creative energy that are driving
developments in the market for handmade
carpets.
Carpets entered in the competition will
be judged in ten categories by a jury of
respected professionals, who will rate
the entries in terms of material,
design, colour and workmanship (weaving
quality).
The three best entries in each category
will be on show throughout DOMOTEX
HANNOVER 2009 in a special CDA display
area in Hall 15. The top-placed entries
in each category will be awarded a prize
of 1000 euros and a special trophy.
Booria has been decided to give
an opportunity to more
participants to win the special
prize of this event. In CDA 2009
two winners in two categories
have the chance to receive
Booria special prize, Booria
Carpet Designer software.
